Dyehouse Colorist – Quang Nam, Vietnam

Job Description

We are seeking a Dyehouse Colorist to lead color management processes, ensure best practices in dyeing operations, and drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure best practices in the Dyehouse, Color Laboratory, and final color processes, driving continuous KPI improvement.
• Streamline operations by monitoring workflows and processes, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Follow Digital Color Management best practices in Color Lab, Dyehouse, and Quality Assurance.
• Standardize color pass/fail decisions based on digital color readings and shade grouping.
• Build and train a strong color team to support business growth.
• Improve Right-First-Time performance in dyehouse operations to reduce reprocessing.
• Ensure lab-to-bulk recipe accuracy by coordinating daily with dyehouse teams.
• Communicate effectively with Dyehouse and Color Lab teams to resolve recipe/dye combination issues.
• Assess QC failed lots to identify dyehouse quality control failures and improve recipe management.
• Establish proper color passing procedures in QA to prevent customer-related failures.
• Handle customer quality complaints in collaboration with Sales/Customer Care teams, providing timely solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with brands/vendors to manage color quality issues effectively.

Requirements

• Knowledge of textile dyeing & color management, including Natific/DMIX systems, color quality controls, visual color management, and technical know-how of fabric/fiber dyeing, dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (fabric or yarn dyeing).
• Proficiency in color management software.
• Familiarity with color laboratory tools and dye machine functions/parameters.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Team management experience.
• Results- and customer-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to adapt and drive change.
