Job Description
We are seeking a Color Lab Colorist to support color matching, lab dip development, and shade correction processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support color matching activities for textile fabrics using visual assessment and laboratory systems.
- Prepare, conduct, and manage lab dip developments according to customer requirements and production standards.
- Assist in color formulation, shade correction, and color approval processes.
- Monitor color consistency and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Coordinate closely with Dyeing, Production, Quality, and Merchandising teams to resolve color-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of color recipes, lab dip results, and testing reports.
- Support continuous improvement activities related to color development and color management processes.
Requirements
- College or University degree in Textile Engineering, Dyeing & Finishing, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related disciplines.
- 1–2 years of experience in Color Lab, Dyeing Laboratory, Textile Manufacturing, or similar positions.
- Basic understanding of textile dyeing processes, color theory, dyestuffs, and fabric properties.
- Familiarity with color matching techniques and laboratory testing procedures.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in textile color management.
