Dyeing Manager – Quang Nam, Vietnam

Job Description

We are seeking a Dyeing Manager to oversee dyeing production operations, ensure on-time delivery performance, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure dyeing production meets On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data (production costs, process flows, schedules) to optimize efficiency.
• Participate in production-related meetings, including backlog reviews and internal coordination.
• Maintain and update OTD tracking reports.
• Analyze OTD failure reports and define corrective actions.
• Review functional statements, organizational charts, and project information to define roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain and update dyeing failure reports; perform root cause analysis and propose solutions to improve Right-First-Time (RFT) performance.
• Implement Kaizen activities to continuously improve production efficiency, product quality, 5S, and visual management by reducing waste.
• Enforce discipline and provide training and development programs for dyeing operators.
• Ensure compliance with labor safety standards and company regulations.
• Design, schedule, and procure production tooling, processing equipment, and workstations as needed.
• Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective machine maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing factories, preferably in textile dyeing.
• Good English skills (reading, writing, and communication).
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect effectively with colleagues.
• A good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform well under high pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• University degree in Engineering or Industrial Management, preferably in the Textile Industry.
