Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in mechanical assembly and manufacturing process tracking. This role will be based onsite and will support new product introduction and mass production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify product manufacturing processes and track critical parameters.
  • Monitor daily assembly performance, troubleshoot failures, and drive corrective actions with contract manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage mechanical assembly processes.
  • Conduct production process audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
  • Record and maintain detailed manufacturing process tracking reports during MP (Mass Production) stages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PCBA board manufacturing processes (SMT, PTH, Wave soldering, Press-fit, Corner-bonding), mechanical assembly, testing, and packaging.
  • Familiarity with mechanical tolerance analysis.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with 3D design software (Creo or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with assembly qualification tools (strain gauge test, die pressure test, DNP, cross-section analysis).
  • Familiarity with assembly fixtures development and automation.
  • Knowledge of IC thermal solutions, BGA corner bonding, TIM dispensing, laser etching, underfill, etc.
  • Understanding of statistical tools such as CPK, GR&R for equipment/tester capability review.
  • Willingness to work onsite in lab or factory environments.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills; self-driven, patient, and detail-oriented.
