Job Overview

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC) to oversee production planning, material control, inventory optimization, and delivery performance in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong expertise in production planning, MRP, SAP/ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and production capacity.
  • Prepare production schedules considering manpower, machines, materials, and operational constraints.
  • Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
  • Optimize inventory levels while maintaining production continuity.
  • Analyze production capacity and coordinate with Production/Engineering teams to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor customer orders and ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement recovery actions.
  • Ensure accurate SAP/ERP transactions and master data management.
  • Lead and develop PPC team members and improve planning processes.
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, and NPD teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 7–12 years of experience in PPC, production planning, material planning, or supply chain.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Production planning, MRP, Inventory management, Capacity planning, SAP/ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Good English communication skills.
