Specification Engineer – HCMC, Vietnam

Location: Van Phuc Urban Area, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City

About the Role

We are looking for a Specification Engineer to join our Sales team. This role focuses on providing technical solutions, developing relationships with consultants, designers, contractors, and supporting the sales team in expanding project opportunities within the construction industry.

The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering solutions, comfortable working with technical stakeholders, and able to combine technical knowledge with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Introduce technical solutions and products during the early stages of construction projects to increase product specification opportunities.
• Develop relationships with architects, consultants, designers, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations, site tests, and technical presentations at customer offices or project sites.
• Support technical calculations, presentations, and solution proposals.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents including drawings, specifications, approval documents, and project-related records.
• Provide product training and technical support to the sales team.
• Analyze competitor solutions and market trends to identify business opportunities.
• Update technical documents and product information for the Vietnam market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Materials, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, designers, or construction projects is preferred.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new technical knowledge quickly.
• Good command of English reading and writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with construction-related software is an advantage.
