HR Manager – Country Level

Location: Long An

Working Time: Monday to Saturday (Saturday WFH)

Job Purpose

The Country HR Manager will oversee all human resources operations within Vietnam. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.

2. Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

3. Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee recruitment process: job postings, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.

4. Employee Relations

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

5. Performance Management

  • Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

6. Training & Development

  • Provide support and guidance on training and development needs.

7. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee performance appraisal system.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

8. HR Metrics

  • Develop and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

9. Leadership

  • Lead and develop the HR team.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in HR, with at least 3 years in managerial role.
  • Language/Computer: Fluency in English, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of labor laws & HR best practices, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership abilities. HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Sensitive, careful, honest, and teamwork-oriented.
