Windows Server Administrator – HCMC, Vietnam

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Administrator to lead enterprise server operations and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Enterprise Server Operations: Plan, implement, and manage Windows Server environments (2012 R2–2022+). Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware. Provide Tier 2+ support for escalated issues and resolve complex hardware/software/network problems. Manage backup/restore solutions and disaster recovery readiness.
• Active Directory & Identity Services: Administer AD environments including domain controllers, GPOs, DNS, DHCP. Implement security best practices, patch management, and access control standards.
• IIS & Web Hosting: Design, configure, and manage advanced IIS deployments (SSL/TLS, reverse proxy, load balancing, performance tuning). Troubleshoot complex enterprise web hosting environments.
• Hybrid Infrastructure: Manage virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V). Deploy and support workloads in AWS and Azure hybrid environments. Diagnose issues across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Automation & Monitoring: Develop automation to streamline tasks and enforce consistency. Implement monitoring/alerting solutions. Utilize remote management tools (Windows Admin Center, PowerShell Remoting, RDS). Maintain documentation, runbooks, and CMDB records.
• Collaboration: Partner with IT and application teams on infrastructure projects, communicate proactively on status/issues, and contribute to modernization initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across Windows Server versions (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Advanced IIS administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, RDS, RSAT.
• Solid knowledge of backup/restore solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Backup Exec).
• Proven experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Hyper-V.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud server platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostics, and communication skills.
• Industry certifications (MCSE, AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP) are highly desirable.
